Environmentally friendly descaling with Melitta Bio Liquid Descaling

This liquid descaling agent removes stubborn limescale deposits in coffee machines, electric kettles, fully automatic coffee machines and single portion machines in no time. Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler contains the completely biodegradable active ingredient citric acid. It is guaranteed to descale effectively, and is gentle on all materials, odor neutral, food safe and environmentally friendly.

Use:

Use in accordance with the device's manufacturer's instructions. Do not use on materials sensitive to acid.

Filter coffee machines:
Descale your filter coffee machine regularly, once a month or at the latest after 30 brews with Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multipurpose descaler. This cares for and protects your device, and helps it function optimally.
1. Pour 1-2 measures of Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler into 500 ml of water.
2. Pour the mixture into the machine's water tank.
3. Switch on the appliance and let the mixture flow completely through.
4. Let 2 full water containers with clean water flow through the appliance after descaling.

Fully automatic coffee machines, capsule and pad machines:
Descale your fully automatic coffee machine or your capsule and pad machine regularly. The frequency depends on the hardness of the water in your region, but should be done at least after 100 brews. Very hard water: Every 3 weeks, hard: Every 4 weeks, soft and medium hard: Every 5 weeks, Precise information about the water hardness in your region can be obtained by contacting your local waterworks.
1. Pour 3 measures of Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler into 500 ml of water.
2. Pour the mixture into the machine's water tank and descale according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Then rinse the device through with clean water (2 full water containers).

Equipment for boiling water, such as vinegar kettles, pressure cookers and egg cookers:
1. Pour 1-2 measures of Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler into the device and fill up with water to the level of lime deposits.
2. Heat the mixture in the appliance.
3. Leave to rest for a short time. 4. Rinse well.

Dishwashers:
1. First clean the door area with Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler.
2. Then pour the contents of the entire bottle (250 ml) of Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler into the empty dishwasher.
3. Select a program without pre-rinse (min. 50 °C) and let the appliance run without contents.

Stainless steel pots and pans:
1. Pour 2 measures of Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler into 120 ml (1 cup) of water.
2. Bring the mixture to the boil in the pot/pan and let it boil for a few minutes
3. Then rinse well.

Shower heads, fittings, stainless steel, plastic, ceramic and chrome shower:
1. Use Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multi descaler undiluted using a cloth or immerse the object in Melitta Anti Calc liquid Bio multipurpose descaler.
2. Let it soak in.
3. Wipe off and rinse well.

NOTE: Do not use on surfaces sensitive to acids, such as marble and aluminium, as well as galvanized or enamelled appliances.
