This large granite mortar is of dual use in your kitchen, as it can be used on either side - for small quantities of spices or for large quantities of pesto and herb paste. This large granite mortar with a granite pestle is ideal for the preparation of fresh pesto or herb pastes. Thanks to the rounded bottom the ingredients are worked to a perfect consistency. The practical double use: turning the mortar upside down reveals the smaller bowl, which is the perfect size for crushing peppercorns etc.
