To use, simply break off a stem from the pretty dried flower and use it as a toothpick. The flower heads used in the Rivsalt toothpicks are harvested from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco where they are dried and then shipped to Casablanca for final selection. Local residents have used the plant for a wide variety of purposes for over 1,000 years, using the dried flower stems as toothpicks to this day.
