Crystal clear water without use of extra chemicals! This Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System provides optimal pool sanitation in two steps. First, natural salt is added to the pool water and when the water passes the system the water molecules are split and build active chlorine particles which destroy bacteria and algae. When the water runs back in the pool, the UV light from the sun will recreate the salt. The result is soft, fresh, clean and crystal clear water without the potential harsh side effects of packaged pool chemicals. The system requires a filtration pump with a flow rate between 1.136 and 3.785 litres/hour. Suitable for smaller size pools.
